Dominik Hammer is a political scientist and a research assistant at the Hannover Institute for Philosophical Resesearch (FIPH) in Hannover, Germany. He is currently working on his dissertation, a genealogical observation of modern biologism. Hammer studied political science at the University of Passau, where he received his B.A. and at the Technical University of Dresden, where he received his masters degree in political science. Focusing on political theory and the history of ideas, his fields of interest are, among others, modern democratic theory, anti-democratic ideas and movements, political culture and cultural critique.
